KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna's Superspar closed its doors for the second time in as many weeks after staff members tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, Sunday 7 June,
In a statement issued by the store's management, they announced that "despite all the additional health and safety measures taken last week, we received results that we had some staff members test positive for Covid-19 on 7 June".
The store has since been advised that the best process is to temporarily close its doors in order to thoroughly screen all staff members.
"We are currently working closely with the authorities, as well as implementing rigorous health and safety checks with all our staff and therefore we have closed the store from today and will reopen on Thursday 11 June," the statement reads.
"SPAR’s culture of community and caring continues to drive our response, as we put the well-being of staff and customers first. Again, we thank the community for supporting us throughout this challenging time and look forward to seeing you back in store."
