SEDGEFIELD NEWS & VIDEO - There are contradicting reports that residents cannot leave Sedgefield due to protest action. This is false information.
The N2 is open in both directions to Knysna and George.
The flashing lights on the N2 are the Fire Department and Traffic who are observing the dunes for further flare-ups.
The Smutsville community would not allow Mayor Mark Willemse to speak before community members who were arrested earlier this morning are released, "or we must all get in the police van".
Mayor Willemse has now stepped back with a few community leaders to discuss the situation.
