Update
PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - CemAir’s flights remain suspended, but steps are being taken to resume services, the carrier announced on Sunday February 4.
This after domestic flights were temporarily brought to a halt on Friday following paperwork issues identified by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) during an annual audit.
CemAir said in a statement on Sunday that their team had a meeting with the regulator on Saturday, February 3, and that it resulted in an agreement of steps required to resolve the issue.
In the meantime, the airline is making alternative arrangements for affected passengers where possible.
“We are working closely with other carriers to accommodate our passengers with minimum inconvenience. Alternately all passengers can apply for a full refund.”
