GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Department of Health has announced the dates and sites where residents over the age of 60 in Knysna, Sedgefield, and Plettenberg Bay can be vaccinated this week.
The roll-out of vaccinations for members of the public older than 60 began in Knysna last Thursday, 10 June, a week after the roll-out in Plettenberg Bay.
The department will announce an updated vaccination schedule on a weekly basis, which will indicate the sites and the days on which vaccines will be administered.
This schedule will be determined by the weekly delivery of vaccines to the Knysna and Bitou sub-districts.
Vaccination starts at 09:00 at all sites.
This week, the dates and sites for vaccinations for members of the public over the age of 60 are as follows:
Thursday 17 June:
- Plettenberg Bay Town Clinic
- Sedgefield Clinic
Friday 18 June:
- Kwanokuthula Community Day Centre (CDC)
- Knysna Town Hall
