PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS FLASH - The case against the well-known Plettenberg Bay teacher who allegedly sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy from his school was postponed for further investigation and for a final time today, August 18.
The 42-year-old teacher, who cannot be named until he has pleaded, briefly appeared in the local magistrate's court earlier today.
The matter was however postponed because several statements were still outstanding.
The teacher was arrested on June 22 after the Grade 2 learner’s guardian reported the alleged incidents to police when the boy, through play therapy, claimed that he had been sexually assaulted by the accused in May 2015.
The matter was postponed for a final time for further investigation until November 5.
