SEDGEFIELD NEWS & VIDEO - The public order policing (POP) unit currently in Smutsville, Sedgefield reverted to using rubber bullets and tear gas on the community this morning.
After mayor Mark Willemse addressed the community, pleading for non-violence and attempting to explain the housing situation, some community members were still not happy.
As Willemse left under the protection of POP, a stone came flying out of the crowd. POP opened fire, dispersing the crowd.
After the dust settled it was found that a woman had somehow broken her ankle during the incident.
