KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Police have called for assistance from the public to aid in their search for 37-year-old Lauren van Rooyen from Davidson Street, Hornlee - also known as 'Curly'.
Van Rooyen was last seen on 2 September and was reported as missing by a family member on Thursday 17 September.
A search party, consisting of various units of the police and community members, was established to trace her.
Information available indicates that she was last seen in the Knysna Central Business District.
"Lauren was dressed in a mustard denim dress and white sandals at the time of her disappearance," said Southern Cape Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies. "The search for the missing person continued today without any trace of her, but the search is ongoing."
Police are urging any person who can assist with the whereabouts of the missing Van Rooyen, or who can provide information that will secure her safe return, to contact the investigating officer at the Knysna Detective Branch, Warrant Officer James Visagie, at 044 302 6608 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
