KNYSNA NEWS - The South African Cape Corps Military Veterans Association (SACCMVA) recently held a meeting in Knysna on 20 January to address the issues faced by military veterans in the Western Cape.
The meeting, led by Provincial Executive Committee Leader John Bruinders, aimed to provide information about military veteran benefits and improve the lives of those who have served their country.
Key topics discussed included military pension and housing benefits, with attendees expressing renewed interest in joining SACCMVA as the only legitimate military veteran organization.
The meeting also highlighted the urgent need for housing solutions and the slow progress in registering on the DMV database. A new local leadership team has been elected to address these concerns and improve the well-being of military veterans and their dependents.
