KNYSNA NEWS - On 29 July 29, Ocean Sailing Charters took 11 children from the Dorothy Broster Children's Home on a boat ride.
The children were eager to experience the open waters and bond with the crew. The crew had the opportunity to chat with the youngsters and pique their interest in sailing.
Ocean Sailing Charters plans to host another group of youngsters from the Dorothy Broster Home on another date.
Janesse Botha, Ocean Sailing Charters' facilitating and organising partner, expressed gratitude for the amazing and selfless job the staff at DBCH provide.
The children were able to experience and learn about sailing, making the visit a collaborative and fulfilling experience.
Whe said the staff at DBCH provide a loving and safe haven for the children, and the crew was grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the children.
