KNYSNA NEWS - According to police reports, the body of missing former Knysna local Meghan Cremer was found in Philippi this morning, less than a week after she went missing from her home on Vaderlandsche Rietvlei farm.
Cremer had disappeared from her home in the early hours of the evening on Saturday, 3 August, and her family and loved ones’ worst fears were realised when her body was found on a sand mine in Philippi today.
According to Western Cape police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk, three men aged, 27, 34, and 35 had been arrested at about 20:00 on the day of Cremer’s disappearance for being in possession of Cremer’s car, and were scheduled to appear in Athlone Magistrate’s Court today (8 August).
Captain van Wyk further confirmed that the body was found at 01:00 this morning, and that the 27-year-old suspect will be charged with murder.
