During Wolmarans's annual state of the town address on Friday, May 29 she said: "Council took a well-considered and wise decision to appoint Mr. Easton, as he certainly is able to hit the ground running and has already made inroads."
She described his appointment as part of the paramount importance of running an effective and efficient organisation.
"Mr. Easton has a long history in local government and has been integral to this organisation for over ten years." She added that under his management, a comprehensive organisational structure review is in progress "and this will go a long way to address the serves delivery needs of communities."
