KNYSNA NEWS - This year's Knysna Splash Festival made big waves as the community participated in making it an unforgettable event for a good cause. The festival brought together residents and holidaygoers for a day of fun-filled activities.
One of the most eagerly anticipated events was the Quack Attack Race, a fast-paced rubber duck race that drew competitive contenders for first place.
The Quack Attack Race raised an impressive R15 000 in support of Rotary's Safe Swimming programme.
The programme aims to create awareness and provide resources to ensure safe swimming conditions for the community.
Winner of the Quack Attack Race, Graham Hunter, owner of the 1st placed duck, donated his winnings to the NSRI Knysna Station 12.
The event also featured the Open Swim, which consisted of swimming races over different distances. Over 150 participants competed in three swim races, showcasing their swimming prowess.
