PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The Bitou Municipality is warning residents not to fall for an alleged scam artist who is attempting to swindle residents by offering them jobs at the municipality in exchange for money.
In a statement, the municipality asks the public "not to fall for this as it is a scam".
"The Bitou Municipality conforms to legislated recruitment policies and processes to recruit employees. We urge the public to report this kind of incident to the South African Police Services (Saps) immediately," it said.
