PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A combined crime intelligence operation in the Plettenberg Bay area last night, Monday 24 April, led to four arrests and the recovery of 10 stolen solar panels.
Otto Olivier, operations chief of the Plettenberg Bay Crime Prevention Association, lauded the positive outcome of the operation.
Members of the Police Highway Patrol, Plettenberg Bay and Kwanokuthula police, Plettenberg Bay detectives, Bitou Law Enforcement and Plett Rapid Response participated in the operation.
“Excellent cohesion, fantastic support and on-point response led to this positive outcome,” said Olivier.
“What makes this operation even more successful is that two suspects wanted on several outstanding warrants were taken into custody.”
Olivier had a special word of gratitude to the community and crime intelligence.
“Their intel and reports contribute to neutralising criminal activities. Please keep on sharing information on questionable or suspicious activities," Olivier said.
