KAROO NEWS - A 78-year-old woman, Patricia ‘Paddy’ Orpen, was found murdered on a farm outside Cradock yesterday morning, 5 May.
According to Captain Lariane Jonker, spokesperson for the Cradock SAPS, the victim’s daughter made the discovery at around 11am.
Orpen’s vehicle was stolen and set alight at the quarry.
Jonker did not wish to comment further on the situation, stating that the investigation is at a sensitive stage and no arrests have yet been made.
