"Our theme, Anchored to the Rock, was the sole purpose of the camp during which we wanted to spiritually enrich and strengthen the families and to make them more aware that God is the answer, not the cause or the problem," explained Reggie Donson, spokesperson, YFC Knysna.
The Rock Church sponsored a bus and together with several YFC vehicles the campers arrived safely at Tharfield Estate. "Tharfield Estate kindly offered to prepare the food at no cost," added Donson.
"We heard testimonies saying that they [the family members] could feel our care and love for them," smiled Donson.
In conclusion, he thanked Standard Bank, South Cape Suppliers, Kwikspar, Farmer's Butchery, Julia Claasen, Kekkel en Kraai, Saver's Lane, Rasta Kitaan and The Rock Church. "Without their generosity, the weekend would not have been so amazing, we were truly blessed and definitely spiritually enriched."

Members of Knysna's Youth For Christ accompanied 25 family member of the victims of last year's tragic Rheenendal bus accident on a spiritual weekend.
