KNYSNA NEWS - Local charity organisation Care Bears & Safe Haven made the Christmas season unforgettable for 60 children in Hornlee on Friday 15 December.
The event took place at the Hornlee club house, where the eager and excited children awaited their presents and Christmas lunch.
The non-profit organisation, run by director Marvine Pedro, was supported by Pick n Pay Knysna and its staff.
Community members contributed by choosing names from a Christmas tree to donate a gift to a child in need. Care Bears & Safe Haven collected donations from the community and plans to continue outreach programmes and events in the new year.
