PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Bitou Municipality is undertaking a sanitation process of its waste transfer station after it was closed due to a Covid-19 related incident on Monday.
The municipality confirmed that a staff member tested positive for the virus and therefore temporarily closed the facility.
The municipal communication team confirmed on Tuesday that decontamination of the station, offices and vehicles was being undertaken.
The station remains closed until further notice.
