The boutique wine estate just outside Plettenberg Bay received two double gold Michelangelo International Wine & Spirit Awards for two of their Method Cap Classiques (MMC) at an awards luncheon on September 18 at the Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West.
“The awards are not only an achievement for Bramon, but shows that this [Bitou] is a fine wine making region,” Bramon owner Peter Thorpe said.
The awards give local and international wines the opportunity of being judged by an international panel of wine experts. Judges – which this year included experts from around the world including the United Kingdom, France, the United States and Switzerland – are hand-picked and serve on the panel by invitation.
