Principal Jeff Lomey was elated with, not only the 100% pass rate, but also the six students (Melissa Roberts, Patricia Grootboom, Deidre Murphy, Melissa Nel, Anri Smit and Juliette Troxler) who passed their exams with honours and another three (Karin van Asten, Gillian Williamson and Mario Sciocatti) who passed with distinctions.
Three of the students also entered and passed the ITEC international exams, one with honours and another with distinction.
At a recent graduation ceremony, guest speaker and sponsor, Mayor Eleanore Bouw-Spies, presented the 26 certificates to proud graduates, of which nine certificates were special awards for excellence.
Mayor Bouw-Spies was thanked for her support throughout the year and the Golf Day Education Fund contribution to the success of sponsored student.
"A career in health, beauty and skincare can be started at any age from 16 to 60 or more," explained Lomey. "Our qualifications will enable graduates to become both nationally and internationally employable," he explained.
Learners can study at their own time and own pace, doing as many hours a week as suit their lifestyle.
The college is open for evening classes and Saturdays.
"We are also very excited that Leandre Fuhri will bring to the college fresh energy and amazing skills. Leandre was previously Spa manager at Pezula," said Lomer.
