Guests sipped cocktails and viewed the designer range shoes of the hugely talented shoe maker, Lindsay Bennett. Bennett - who has made her mark both nationally and internationally - recently moved her studio from Wilderness to George.
Robin's Nest Interior's general manager Sue Oelofse said, "To make our clients feel special we organised a fun day where women dressed up and were able to feel all 'girly' again.
"The bright, up-art designs of the 1960s are far too cheerful for anyone to dwell on nostalgia. Instead, we arranged a display of fabrics, shoes and furniture which inspires future design trends and interior decorating. We lined up a high tea and ended the day with a smart cocktail party. There was a lucky draw for a R500 cash prize and Cansa will benefit from the R20 donated for the sale of each pair of shoes."
The Robin's Nest Interiors group has managed to stay on top of trends and even generates its own sophisticated designs for their ongoing local and international projects involving furnishing homes and hotels.
