When Level 3 was announced at the start of June, numerous sporting codes could return to play for the first time in just over two months. These included bowling, canoeing, squash - and tennis, which meant local tennis clubs were allowed to reopen their doors and courts to members too. But, it would take another month of preparation and finalising of return-to-play conditions and regulations before they could fully return to the court.
