KNYSNA NEWS - Next Saturday will see Knysna transformed into the scene of a 1990s grunge music revival with the Gareth James Trio to go on the stage at Knysna Yacht Club.
The nostalgic tribute to grunge meisters that will feature genre hits such as Pearl Jam's Betterman, Bush's Glycerine and Lightning Crashes and/or Selling the Drama by Live, is designed to make you haul out your check-flannel long sleeves and Diesel baggies.
According to the organisers, Better Live, James and his band will also be showcasing some original music and they hope that people will love the songs as much as he loved writing and recording them over the years.
Apart form Gareth James on acoustic guitar and vocals, Lionel Konstabel will feature on acoustic and electric guitars and Ricky van der Horst on drums, bass, keys and vocals.
All three artists are huge fans of the 90s grunge era and intent on bringing you the best revival show in SA.
The show is on at Knysna Yacht Club on Saturday 2 October from 18:30.
There are only 50 tickets available, so booking is essential. For ticket prices and any further information, contact jackie@betterlive.co.za.
