Markus Färbinger of Ile de Pain and Michael Cheze will speak of their creative collaboration producing a book and film on the art of bread-making.
Keith Cornelis-Britz will talk of his book Big Dans Sophie - a delicate and beautifully told tale of the woodcutters who once lived and worked in the forests of Knysna. The book was nominated for the European Union Literary Awards and only last week the book was shortlisted for the Alan Paton Literary Award. Keith will be travelling from Cape Town for the occasion.
Hilary Matthee, daughter of the late Dalene Matthee will share her mother’s experiences and fascinating stories of when she researched her internationally renowned books Fiela se Kind, Circles in a Forest and Toorbos to name but a few.
Anoeschka von Meck will talk about her interesting work on the life of Essie Honiball, a remarkable woman ahead of her time. She cured herself of disease through diet and positive thought.
Anoescka is best known for her book Vaselientjie which won three literary awards.
