They were judged by Robynn Savage. The festival took place over two weekends and started on August 21.
Krystal Coetzee was awarded no less than three prizes for her outstanding performances, winning not only her age category (11-to 12-year-olds), but also the title of National Winner in that category as well as the award for the Most Promising Dancer. "This was the first time ever that the same student got this trophy for the fourth time!" exclaims a proud De Sousa.
In the age category 15-to-17-year-olds, Morgan de Jongh was the national winner while Jané Maritz was judged to be the best in the the category for 17-to-18-year-olds.
"I'm incredibly proud of them all," said De Sousa.
