Bok van Blerk takes to the stage in Knysna

KNYSNA NEWS - Legendary Afrikaans musician and singer-songwriter Bok van Blerk last week granted his fans in Knysna an early Christmas present when he performed at AD's Pub and Dancefloor.

Van Blerk's show was on Wednesday 21 December, and the dancefloor at AD's was packed to the rafters as the show sold-out with fans of the legendary Afrikaans artist coming out in their numbers.

While there was a slightly delayed start due to load shedding, once things got going the vibe and energy all around the venue was electric to say the least.

His signature charisma and command of the acoustic guitar had the crowd singing and dancing along in the palm of his hand. From people taking to the floor to sokkie, to people belting out Bok van Blerk classics at the top of their lungs, it was a great night.

Next up on the festive roster at AD's Pub and Dancefloor is the 'Battle of the DJs' with DJs Dredd, Ross and Nukes set to take each other on Friday 30 December.

Thereafter on New Year's Eve AD's will welcome Loufi and Biggy to the venue, followed by Jack Parrow on New Year's Day.
