Handré Pollard insures kicking foot for whopping R2m

NATIONAL NEWS - Mariah Carey insured her legs, David Beckham his whole body, Fernando Alonso his thumbs and Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera her signature smile and now Handré Pollard’s kicking foot has been insured for a whopping R2 million.

The South African star flyhalf’s most prized possession has been covered just in time for the most important eight weeks of his life.

Phil Donnelly, Sales & Marketing Director at Bidvest Insurance says that with the competition ahead the move could be a matter of national importance.

Donnelly continued, “Handré is a key member of the national team and we want to ensure that we’re getting behind our boys over the next eight weeks and literally putting our money where our mouth is, in insurance”.
