KNYSNA NEWS - Oakhill College Grade 11 student Max Hayward (17) played table tennis in the Cape Town Open recently in both the U17 and U19 age groups. While he didn't make it through to the knockouts, he took a set off all the players he came up against.
Max had a particularly close game and a near-win against the top Eden player in the U17 age group.
With one set each and the final set being played point-by-point, it closed out with a 9-11 loss for Max.
