FOOTBALL NEWS - The Kwanokuthula-based side Bitou Young Pirates have become the new Safa Eden Hollywoodbets Regional League champions - with one game to spare - after spending only one season in this league.

The team, that was promoted from the Plettenberg Bay Local Football Association league last season, are now set to participate in the Western Cape Third Division playoffs to the Western Cape ABC Motsepe Provincial League. 

They will represent the Eden Region in the play-offs in their own back yard (Eden District) during July.

They are the second team from Plettenburg Bay to represent Eden Region in the Western Cape ABC Motsepe league just after the Oriented Birds. 

They will be joining the likes of Oriented Birds FC, Zizwe United, Antalyaspor Cape Town JPM and FN Rangers in the Western Cape elite league. They have made it clear that they are determined to reach the top.
