Johan Swanepoel has truly managed to share and showcase the beauty of Mossel Bay over the last couple of years to the rest of the world through his daily photos of Mossel Bay. Up before sunrise every morning with the sole purpose of catching the first rays of sunrise over the Point or Santos Beach to share with the rest of the world, he has managed to start each day in Mossel Bay with a positive "good morning from Mossel Bay" message on his Facebook page. His photos and daily posts shine a light through these trying Covid times and most often are a beacon of hope and positivity. His social media page called SwimmingSharkville boasts thousands of followers and likes, and I am sure he has promoted Mossel Bay more in the last couple of years than any other local tourism company. His stunning sunrise photos are so positive and bright - a ray of light to all of us in these trying Covid times. He truly showcases the beauty of Mossel Bay each and every day.
