Monique runs a very successful bunny rescue that looks after special need bunnies, as well as bunnies that need a home. She is responsible for the feeding, veterinary care, sterilising and rehoming of these bunnies in need. Often Monique rides out at any hour of the day (or even evenings) to fetch or catch a bunny in distress. Always, she will but the needs of the bunnies before her own. Every penny she has goes towards these little lives. I admire Monique and she inspires me to want to do more for the voiceless. Monique is also active in outreach and education, visiting schools and such. I know that by supporting Monique, we are ultimately supporting the bunnies in need. She has never let a bunny down or left any animal in need behind. I have adopted through the haven, and have been mentored by Monique about bunny care. She asks for nothing from her supporters other than to care for and love the bunnies that we are responsible for. I admire that about her.
