KNYSNA NEWS - In a special meeting of the Knysna Municipal Council held yesterday, four motions of no confidence in the whip, speaker, deputy mayor and mayor failed to pass.
A special council meeting was held digitally yesterday, Tuesday 31 May.
The motions of no confidence against the DA's Hilton Stroebel (whip), Julie Lopes (speaker), KIM councillor Mark Willemse (deputy mayor), and Levael Davis (mayor) were items on the agenda.
Not one of the four motions received enough votes from Council to pass however, and the four councillors hold their seats.
