KNYSNA POLITICAL NEWS - The ANC has taken Hornlee in Knysna from the DA.
In yesterday’s by-election in Ward 11, the ANC's support went from 29% to 49% while the DA’s votes fell from 51% to 34% in the ward – traditionally a DA stronghold.
The councillor that stood for the ANC, Lorraine Opperman, defected from the DA earlier this year after she was kicked out of the party for disobeying voting instructions from the DA caucus.
