Dad finds his son shot dead

NATIONAL NEWS - A BETHELSDORP father came across the body of his son, moments after he was shot dead outside their home early yesterday.

Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said the home owner heard gunshots at about 2.30am.

He went outside to see what had happened and found his son’s body with multiple gunshot wounds.

The name of the dead man, 20, has not yet been released.

“The Bethelsdorp detectives are investigating a murder case.

“It is unclear whether the attack was gang related, but the possibility will form part of the investigation,” Janse van Rensburg said.
