Susan Rohde was found dead with a cord around her neck at Spier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch two weeks ago.
Rohde says when he and his wife woke up on that fateful morning, she went to the bathroom to get ready, while he fell asleep.
The property mogul says when he later woke up, he was unable to open the bathroom door and called hotel workers for assistance.
When they opened the door, he found his wife hanged behind the door. But pathological and forensic reports have ruled his wife’s death as murder.
