The international medical humanitarian organisation released the report at the International Aids Conference in Durban today.
MSF says while the prices of older HIV drugs continue to decline, the world - especially third world countries - risk facing an HIV treatment crisis if newer drugs are not made affordable.
The organisation’s Dr Vivian Cox says the price of older drugs has decreased by 26 percent since 2014 but newer drugs are costing 18 times more making it impossible for the poor to have other options.
