NATIONAL NEWS - Speaking at a media briefing in East London, Eastern Cape, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said the country’s coronavirus cases had increased to 3,465, an increase of 165 since yesterday.
The total number of tests conducted to date was at 126,937, of which 5,427 were done in the past 24 hours.
The provincial breakdown saw Gauteng reach nearly 1,200 cases.
There was no update on deaths, leaving the total at 58 for now.
