The National Prosecuting Authority said the latest arrest was made after cellphone profiling placed Zolani Sibeko in the vicinity of the crime in April last year, together with the other accused, Sizwezakhe Vumazonke and Sinethemba Nenembe.Sibeko's bid for bail was opposed by State Prosecutor.
Marius Stander, who said he had previous convictions, adding that a warrant of arrest was outstanding in another matter.
Sibeko was without a legal representative in court. Stander asked for a postponement until Friday and indicated that the matter would then be transferred to the PE High Court.The case was remanded, and Sibeko was warned to arrange for his attorney to be present on Friday.
