GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - A warm berg wind is blowing through several regions as South Africa prepares for Tuesday.

Berg wind is the South African name for a katabatic wind: a hot dry wind blowing down the Great Escarpment from the high central plateau and across the Karoo to the coast.
The expected UVB sunburn index: Low
Eastern Cape:
Morning frost north of the escarpment where it will be cold, otherwise fine and cool, but windy over the western interior.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly.
