GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The National Sea Rescue Institute is appealing to the public to heed a Knysna Municipality warning not to swim at beaches between Herolds Bay and Sedgefield.

"The public is urged to take precautions due to very rough sea and surf conditions being experienced on Friday afternoon."

According to Craig Lambinon, NSRI spokesperson, conditions are commensurate to a SA Weather Service weather alert posted on Tuesday and Wednesday for adverse weather forecast between 18 and 23 December.
