KNYSNA NEWS - Nature enthusiasts gathered at Steenbok Nature Reserve on a blustery day to participate in a guided tree walk led by Robert Smith and Ina Engelbrecht of the Dendrological Society of South Africa.
The event, held to celebrate Arbor Month, aimed to deepen participants' understanding of the diverse indigenous flora present in the reserve.
The experts shared their extensive knowledge about trees, particularly highlighting the significance of the Buddleja saligna, the Arbor tree of 2023, also known as the false olive.
