SEDGEFIELD NEWS - Concerned residents and parents in Sedgefield are initiating an “Agents of Change” programme this Friday 4 October, to address youth crime and substance abuse in Smutsville.
Ward 1 Cllr Levael Davis welcomed the initiative.
“They will be hosting a youth games night at the Smutsville Community Hall, starting at 18:00.
The aim of these evenings will be to offer some entertainments, provide positivity and support and teach them life skills. It is great that the Sedgefield community is taking has taken action to address the ever increasing problem in the community, and they have my full support.”
Davis said that the organisers need support to grow and maintain the programme.
