KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna police have resumed their search for Lungisa Guma (33), from White Location, Knysna, who was last seen on 29 May.
According to witness reports, Guma was last seen “wandering around” in White Location.
He never returned home, and was subsequently reported as missing by his next of kin. Guma was dressed in grey jeans and a grey jersey at the time of his disappearance.
A search party consisting of local police, staff from SANParks and Working on Fire, Knysna Municipality law enforcement officers, community volunteers, and members of Knysna's Urban Search and Rescue unit was established.
The police also deployed a K9 search and rescue dog to assist the team.
They have searched the forest near White Location, and the search has been expanded to other areas.
The investigating officer, Warrant Officer James Visagie, urges the public to come forward with any information which could ensure the safe return of the man.
