KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna-Plett Herald reporter Nwabisa Pondoyi has fallen victim to the shortage of rentals in Knysna.
Finding affordable rentals in this town was always difficult, but since the fires the prices of available stock have gone up dramatically.
One of the agents helping Nwabisa showed her a small apartment for R6 000 last week, and says that when properties like this come on the market it almost becomes a “bunfight” as to who gets it.
After Wednesday 31 January, Nwabisa has to vacate her premises in town, and has nowhere to go.
She needs accommodation in or close to the CBD where she works.
“I am urgently looking for a two-bedroom flat or house in town for me, my child and my sister.
"I am a professional with sober habits and have contactable references,” says Nwabisa in desperation.
Should a reader seeing this know of anywhere that might be suitable, please urgently contact Nwabisa on 044 282 1185 / 078 172 3567 or at nwabisap@groupeditors.co.za.
