KNYSNA NEWS - Steenbok Nature Reserve hosted a colouring-in competition during the Leisure Isle Festival and children from schools around Knysna entered.
The competition involved colouring in a page from the new children's activity booklet Look Deep into Nature.
"We had a fantastic response from all the children," said the book's cocreator Diana Stromberg.
The winners were Zipporah Ntuli, a Grade 6 learner from Montessori Primary, who won a Ruby Redzee backpack (Ruby is also a ladybird found in the book), and Knysna Primary School Grade 2 learner Finn Mosterd won a rainbow soccer ball.
"I'm sure they will both be enjoying their prizes while playing and exploring around Steenbok," said Stromberg.
