KNYSNA NEWS - The MEC of the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, visited the Hornlee Clinic to provide an update on its development.
The department has recently taken over as the lead implementer from the Department of Public Works, a decision that will speed up the progress in building a replacement clinic for Hornlee.
The department is engaging with the council, the various committees, the community and all the relevant stakeholders to make the development of the clinic possible.
The current timeline for the clinic's development is a year, as planning, negotiations and approvals need to be overseen in accordance with the relevant councils and committees before building can take place.
