GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The naturally formed Map of Africa is an extraordinary viewpoint in Wilderness Heights, about 15km from George, and definitely a must-see when visiting the beautiful Garden Route.

The viewpoint is also a sought-after launch site for hang-gliders and paragliders.

The large lawn also provides a wonderful picnic spot for the whole family. Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome.

The last stretch to the viewpoint is dirt road, but is well maintained.
