KNYSNA NEWS - A 35-year-old suspect was arrested in White Location earlier today in connection with the stabbing of an unidentified man at the Nelson Street taxi rank at about 11:00 this morning (24 December).
According to Knysna police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies, a murder case was opened following the man's death.
Spies said that preliminary investigation into the matter indicates that the victim was stabbed with a sharp object by another man that fled from the scene. "The victim sustained a stab wound to the chest and died on the scene."
Spies said the investigation was at an early stage and added the suspect will appear in the Knysna Magistrates’ court on Thursday 27 December.
