KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Library Services held an Outreach and Schools Liaison meeting on Thursday, 21 February at the Hornlee Community Hall. This engagement session was attended by educators from Riverwood Primary, Brackenhill Primary, Fraaisag Primary, Sunridge Primary, Hornlee Primary, Thembelitsha Primary, Chris Nissen Primary, Knysna Secondary and Concordia High Schools.
The meeting was aimed at deliberating on the Library Services School programmes for 2019. Discussion items included, programmes timeline, logistical arrangements, feedback and input from educators.
Community Services Chairperson, Councillor Salaze said, “I am looking forward to the various Library programmes: Reading & Debate, Spelling Bee, Book Clubs and of course the highlight of the year, Prize Giving Ceremony.
