KNYSNA NEWS - This Mandela Day, the Keep Knysna Clean initiative is calling on residents, local organisations and community groups to spend their 67 minutes taking action for the environment. The mission is to collect 67 bags of litter across Knysna tomorrow, Thursday 18 July.of litter across Knysna tomorrow, Thursday 18 July.
Keep Knysna Clean is proud to be collaborating with a range of dedicated community groups from across Knysna for a large-scale clean-up effort.
Clean-ups will be happening under this banner throughout 18 July at different times in various locations, from estuary and forest clean-ups to the N2 corridor.
Participants are encouraged to bring gloves, sun hats and reusable water bottles. Bags will be provided at key sites, and Knysna Municipality will be assisting with waste collection on the day.
